This afternoon was way worse than yesterday. She raged herself right to sleep again. I cried my eyes out! But I don't want to talk about that now.
I am exhausted. We have a house showing tomorrow morning and we had to clean the house.
And the incredibly misguided school board people scheduled our meeting with about 24 hour notice. So I had to prepare my documents for that. I am stressing over it but it is what it is. Either they will agree or they won't. Either their lawyer will be there or not. An advocate with the ADA will be there with me which is great. On the flip side, that Betty Alfred will be there too. I am ready though. I am prepared for the next step if they do not meet Jada's needs.
More tomorrow.

Good luck Jennifer, I hope that it all goes well for you. It's great that you will have an advocate there to back you up and give you the support you need.
Good luck tomorrow Jennifer. We will all be with you in spirit!!
Be calm, be firm, be honest. You will do great!
I will be thinking of you. Good Luck!
Good luck with it all Jennifer. I think taking the advocate from ADA is a great idea and will make you feel more comfortable.
Can I just say one thing about your post? When people use the word 'retarded' I view it as an insult. My daughter is mentally retarded. Maybe the school board people are 'confused' or 'misguided' or 'misinformed' or even 'beyond incompetent.' I just wish that people would not use the 'r' word as an insult. Thanks for listening, and good luck at your meeting.
Thank you all for the support. I would not be attending this meeting without the advocate there.
Penny~I apologize for using the r word so loosly. I didn't think anything of it. I am sure you know I didn't mean any disrespect or mean to insult your daughter or anyone else. I should know better. Thank you for your insight.
Good luck, Jennifer! Hope the meeting goes well! Hope the house showing goes well!
My prayers are with you today, Jennifer!
((((HUGS)))
